Alison Brown takes bluegrass music out of this world! Alison Brown's 'Girl's Breakdown' will be the wake-up music for the crew of the Space Shuttle Destiny during their January mission to deliver the U.S. laboratory to the International Space Station. 'Girl's Breakdown,' a tune Alison wrote for her friend and astronaut Marsha Ivins and is the second single from 'Fair Weather'.

Congratulations to Mark and Lisa Poe of Richmond, Indiana on the birth of their new baby, Madison Leeana Poe. Mark formerly played bass fiddle for Larry Sparks & the Lonesome Ramblers and with Dave Evans and River Bend. He now hosts a bluegrass radio show on WECI-FM in Richmond.
